In his fifth annual Valentine's Day webinar with Fireweed, Dean Spade, author of Love in a F*cked Up World: How to Build Relationships, Hook Up and Raise Hell, Together, will provide an interactive workshop about breaking up based on the premise that breaking up is acceptable, common, and can be done ethically. The workshop will explore how we know when it is time to break up, how to treat each other during and after breakups, and how to support friends going through breakups. We will look at common factors leading to breakups being disruptive and disorganizing to political communities and how to avoid them. The workshop will include approaches to breaking up with romantic and sexual partners, friends, and groups we organize or make creative work with.
